Why we are doing this?

Mike Strange, founder of the Box Run has dedicated countless hours to raising funds and awareness around childhood cancer he’s lost far too many of his pint sized heros to different forms of this disease.

Working with the Canadian Cancer Society and Ronald McDonald House on this event is a natural fit.

The Canadian Cancer Society is funding research at McMaster Children’s Hospital that is focussed on pediatric cancer, while Ronald McDonald House Hamilton is supporting families, mostly from Niagara who are going through various medical struggles with their children.

KO – KNOCK OUT seems to be the most appropriate attitude when it comes to cancer don’t you think?

We would love to see you at the Scotiabank Convention Centre on Friday, June 16th cheering on your favorite Niagara hero who is taking punches for a cause bigger than themselves.
